Our 2022 Syrah showcases what I believe is one of the finest expressions of Syrah from Santa Ynez Valley. Crafted with approximately 25% whole-cluster fermentation, the stems contribute additional structure, complexity, and spice while enhancing the wine’s aromatic profile.
The wine displays generous flavors of ripe blackberries, plums, and dark fruit layered with classic black peppercorn notes that are so characteristic of exceptional Syrah. Despite its richness, the wine remains balanced, allowing the fruit, spice, and savory elements to work together harmoniously.
This is a bold yet refined Syrah that reflects both the vineyard and the growing season, offering depth, complexity, and a long, satisfying finish.
