2019 Dry Riesling
Our 2019 Dry Riesling is inspired by the dry Rieslings of Alsace, France, rather than the sweeter interpretation often associated with Germany. The goal was to produce a wine that emphasizes purity, minerality, structure, and complexity while remaining completely dry.
The wine spent time on its lees with regular bâtonnage, the traditional practice of gently stirring the lees to build texture and complexity. This extended lees contact contributes subtle brioche and lightly nutty notes while adding weight and richness to the palate without sacrificing freshness.
Classic Riesling characteristics shine through with beautiful minerality and the delicate hint of petroleum that develops naturally in fine Rieslings. These aromas are considered a hallmark of the variety and add another layer of complexity. The result is a dry, elegant Riesling with freshness, depth, and remarkable food-pairing versatility.
